This was a walk filled with hope, glory, love, despair, triumph and defeat and, sadly, the ultimate loss when Tommy sadly passed away at the age of just 51 after a brave battle with skin cancer.
However, on that journey Tommy Burns never walked alone – at the end of the storm he held his head up high with family, faith and football as his ever-present travelling companions.
